Gratitude towards Art Defender

Sir,
I get your benevolent and friendly letter right now.
Unfortunately I am leaving today, but I hope, on my return, to have the pleasure of getting to know you.
We are so happy, Sir, it is so rare to find intellectual friends who understand and encourage us in our struggles for art.
I've long owed you this testimony of gratitude.
Receive, Sir, my cordial greetings.
